Our New Website & Upcoming Open House Event In El Gouna!

We're so excited to welcome you to our new website & to let you know about an open house event we're hosting in Swan Lake, El Gouna on the 6th, 7th and 8th of October! 

Although "open house" events haven't been common to date in Egypt, we at Jossour have found the idea put into practice to achieve phenomenal results, with the last open house we hosted having the property sold in just 3 days, whereas the average home sale can take 6 months (or more) to complete.

What Is An Open House?

So on the chance you're not immediately familiar with what an open house is, it's essentially an event that's scheduled over one or more days, where people who are interested in properties for sale can come to the property freely, to have a look around, ask questions & really get a feel for whether this particular property could be a great fit for them.

We've found hosting an open house to be such an effective way to sell a property - and there are several reasons why, for instance we’ve found that by focussing on a narrow range of dates / times for showings we’re able to bring together many interested potential buyers at once, which allows us to answer questions from several parties simultaneously & in a very personal way, authentically connect with these potential buyers as well. 

What Questions Should You Ask?

So whenever you're at an open house event, we suggest you ask any & all questions that come to mind, however to focus on a shortlist that tend to be a high priority for our attendees:

1. Why is this house for sale?

2. How long has it been on the market? 

3. Are there any offers on the table?

4. Are there any known structural issues?

5. Have there been any major repairs or renovations?

6. What are the neighbours (and neighbourhood) like?

7. What do the utilities generally cost on a monthly basis?

8. What are the monthly or annual maintenance fees?

9. What amenities are nearby?

10. What exactly comes with the purchase of the home? 

As we're sure you can see now, we’ve found hosting an open house with a property for sale to be of great value to prospective home buyers, of course this being ideal for those who’ve a keen interest in the home in question, but interestingly also for those who view during the open house where the property isn’t just what they’re looking for...
